CPR (Cardiopulmonary Resuscitation) is an emergency medical procedure for victims of cardiac or respiratory arrest. It consists of the combination of artificial blood circulation and artificial respiration delivered though chest compressions and artificial ventilation. This maintains a flow of oxygenated blood to the brain and heart.
